Drawing together research, community voices and personal experience Jess will provide an overview of perspectives on 'neuro-affirming'.

This workshop is not about telling you what and who to use to support your family, rather it is about giving you the knowledge to make an informed decision yourself.

I'm Jess, GROVE's Founder and I am proudly Autistic/ADHD and Mum to two neurodivergent children. Both are home educated as their needs cannot be met in school. I'm a former teacher and I'm studying for a Masters in Autism.  I believe that all neurodivergent children and young people should have the opportunity to connect with one another and to learn about their identity in an accurate and neuro-affirming way. I really struggled to find those opportunities for my own children and so GROVE developed from this need.
